I thought that I should post some positive reviews of The Shack. I am going to read it for myself despite the negatives that I have heard. Right now I am reading The Pilgrim's Progress. I thought it would be a good book to compare and contrast with The Shack because of the following endorsement by Eugene Peterson.

When the imagination of a writer and the passion of a theologian cross-fertilize the result is a novel on the order of The Shack. This book has the potential to do for our generation what John Bunyan’s Pilgrim’s Progress did for his. It’s that good!
