9/11

I have been thinking about what to write about this day. I have been reading blogs and articles this morning about 9/11. Some ask "where were you?" and some are reflecting on the last 5 years after those terrible events. I have heard on the radio that a continuous survey of 9,000 people has been done since the events about spirituality. They found that right after 9/11 people went church more and in general became more spiritual. Unfortunately that was only for a short time. As they started feeling better people returned to the same level of faith they had pre-9/11. This says something about our culture. But I also think is says something about our churches.


Here is an article by Chuck Colson that I feel is right on the mark about how one's faith will directly effect how he or she views the world and events such as 9/11.
